"Who is Gear Plus". It's a question that gets asked a lot and yet the answer is very simple. Gear Plus is basically anybody who feels like writing in and having something to say. Anybody who spends time writing product reviews, creating articles about industry tips and tricks or suggestion of how to improve the A / V industry. In short, Gear Plus (if you want it to be) is you.

All our web design, layout and hosting is kindly handled by OFMD.

The regular writers are many and from extremely varied places. A couple even from overseas (and we have spies everywhere).

The odd article, which is very welcome, pops in from a lot of unusual places and we generally tag these with the contact details of those mentioned in the article.

We know it's a bit wanky but we like to think of Gear Plus as being the best independent resource for the Australasian professional Audio Visual industry.

It has been designed to provide relevant product information and news items from within the industry with a view to becoming the key site for audio visual designers, installers, operators and owners.

So lets be clear, Gear Plus is a totally independent publication. It is self funded and there is no shareholding from any supplier or manufacturer and certainly no vested interests.
